Research Support Network
A new initiative from Parkinson’s UK is the Research Support Network which is taking over  the type of activity which used to be handled by the off-shoot group called SPRING (which  will be absorbed by RSN).  If people would like to become involved in RSN's activities, they  need to contact PUK quite soon.  PUK says:    "Without your support our research could not happen. There's a variety of ways that you can  help us in our work towards a cure for Parkinson's."    "We're building a new Research Support Network open to anyone interested in Parkinson's  research.  People who join will have opportunities to take part in a wide range of research  activities - from organising local events to fundraising for research."  Relevant links are    http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/research/get_involved_in_our_research.aspx for the PUK point of view - the relevant bit is at the bottom of the page    and   http://spring.parkinsons.org.uk/images/stories/SpringDigest/2012/ST62Web.pdf  pages 3 & 10 for the SPRING side.
